

James Delbert Clardy, Sr. 76, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015, at his home. He was born July 27, 1939, in Rosewood, KY to the late Delbert Ray and Rowena Catherine (Blackwell) Clardy.
He graduated from the old Central High School in 1957. He was a 50-year member of the Masons and the Shriners. He was retired from Packaging at Mead Johnson after 30 years and as a Security Guard at Tropicana for ten years.
James was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Bryson James Clardy; and nephew, Timothy Yeast.
He is survived by his daughters, Ramona and Jennifer Clardy; sons, Kenneth and James Delbert Clardy, Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole R. Grigsby, Ramon James Will, Kenneth Franklin Clardy, and Maggie Jo Clardy; great-grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Logsdon, Margie (Michael) Kostbade, Brenda (Albie) Yeast, and Donna (Garry) Ghromley.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jason Paul, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
