Jerry Cleek

Jerry was a beloved and devoted husband, father & grandfather. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing along with outdoor life. He was a member of Forest Hills Wesleyan Church and also attended West Side Christian Church. He retired from Windsor Plastics (Guardian Automotive Group) in 1999 and spent many years as an active member of Gideons International, giving his time distributing Bibles. His life's ambition was to assist others in coming to know Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Vera (Wilson) Cleek; 2 sons, Jeff (Kim) of Evansville, IN and Bruce of Indianapolis, IN and 3 grandchildren, Kristen, Megan & Jaden.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home - 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville with Reverend Gary Brunson and Reverend Mike Stoelting officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 4 pm until 8 pm, Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home and again from 10 am until time of service at 11 am, Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 6913, Evansville, IN 47719.
