

Jack was born January 25, 1921 in Burnt Prairie, IL to the late Cassius Calvin "C.C." and Eva Hunsinger. They moved to Evansville and Jack graduated from Bosse High School in 1939. Jack's work ethic was evident early in life, working his way up to manager at H A Woods Drug Store where he worked from 1935-40 during high school.
Jack married his teenage sweetheart Constance Schuble on September 19, 1941 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Together they were faithful members of Salem United Methodist Church for 63 years where he had served on many committees, including treasurer from 1989-90 and 1995-96.
Jack retired as the Vice President/Comptroller of George Koch & Sons and its many subsidiaries after 46 years of service. He admired George Koch and his brother, Malcolm, as they built the George Koch and Sons dynasty.
He was one of the founders, directors and comptroller for Adair Industries, Inc. and for several other businesses in the tri-state area throughout his career in addition to being a consultant to many businesses.
Jack was a charter member of Westside Kiwanis Club, Christmas Lake Golf and Tennis Club and Seratoma as well as a member of Evansville Country Club, Kennel Club of Evansville, Central Turners, Petroleum Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Club, Evansville Chamber of Commerce and honored as a Kentucky Colonel.
Ballroom dancing was his passion after his retirement and he volunteered as treasurer for dance clubs in Evansville including; Metropolitan Dance Club, Coterie of Evansville, Friday Night Dance Club and Eagles Country Club.
Jack's family was his priority in life and he was a very loving, caring and giving husband and father to his wife and children.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Constance; a son, Jack W. (Betty) Hunsinger of Evansville, IN; a daughter, Jane Hunsinger Gordon of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, John M. Hunsinger of San Francisco, CA; Julie Rosier, Marybeth Durbin (Mike) both of Evansville, IN; Melody Hunsinger of Lexington, KY; great-granddaughter, Khloe Durbin, niece, Myrna Spurgin (John) of Evansville, IN; nephew, George Scott Hunsinger of Peoria, IL.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Genevieve (Hunsinger) Culley Bootz; and his brother, George Hunsinger; and his twin nephews, Larry and Jerry Culley.
A Celebration of Jack's life will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, IN, 47711 with Rev. Kenny Schuble officiating. Entombment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Browning Funeral Home and from noon until service time on Thursday.
