Kevin R. Milton, age 58, of Newburgh, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at his home after a battle with cancer.
Kevin attended Harrison High School and was a 1973 graduate of North High School. He had worked as a Tool Maker for 39 years throughout the Evansville area and most recently at Huff Technologies in Morganfield, KY. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana University Basketball Fan. Kevin was a 37 year member of the Tri-State Corvette Club, the Grand Sport Registry, a life member of the National Council of Corvette Clubs and a member of the American Pool Players Association. Kevin also enjoyed photography, especially taking photos of cars.
Surviving Kevin are his wife of 32 years, Christine (Kost) Milton; his mother, Marcetis Milton of Fayetteville, TN; three sisters, Karen, Sunny and Amber; two brothers, Thomas and Larry; his mother-in-law, Veda Kost of St. Philip; sister-in-law, Jane Kost of Evansville; brothers-in-law, Phillip (Pat) Kost of St. Philip and Alvin Kost of Evansville and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Kevin will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Tim Leadingham officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday and from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Kevin's family would like to extend a special thank you to Vista Care Hospice, especially Kelly; Dr. Thomas Waits and the staff at Oncology Hematology Associates and Dr. Edward Daetwyler for their compassionate care of Kevin.
