

Marilyn was born February 6, 1932 to the late Otto and Thelma (Blakley) Dixon in Evansville.
Mrs. Grayson had worked at Kruckemeyer and Kohn in downtown Evansville and also at the Baby Shop. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women’s Society and the 4 Cers Sunday School Class. She also was a member of a Bunco Club for over 40 years and a graduate of FJ Reitz High School.
Surviving Marilyn are a daughter, Dianne Grayson and a son, Samuel (Sarah) Grayson, both of Evansville; a sister, Mary Beth (Bob) Williams-Gentil of Poseyville; two grandchildren, Isaac and Shannon Grayson, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William Grayson in 2002 and by a brother, Richard T. Dixon.
Funeral services for Marilyn will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
