Mary L. Bemis

Mary Lou was born November 6, 1932 in Two Harbors, MN to the late Guy and Theresa

(Pearson) McLaughlin. She had worked as a telephone operator and also in the personnel

department of Sears Department store. She was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church

and had played the organ for several area churches.

Surviving Mary Lou are three sons, Guy Bemis, Larry (Cathy) Bemis and Bruce (Ruba)

Bemis; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Donald

Bemis in 2005 and by a son, Donald “Skip” Bemis in 2012.

Funeral services for Mary Lou will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at

Glory Road Baptist Church, Rev. Delbert Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial

Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at Glory

Road Baptist Church.
