Mary JO Lindsey

Mary Jo was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church in Rockport, where she met and married Wandle Lindsey. She then moved to Evansville and joined Zion Baptist Church. Mary Jo retired from Whirlpool after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Ray Lindsey; her parents, Charles Samuels and Victoria Crawley; her stepdad, Wilbur Granderson, Sr.

and her brother-in-law, Frank Sebree.

Mary Jo is survived by her children, Byron Lindsey (Lynn), Wanda Hazelwood (Jerry), Larry Lindsey (Shirley) and Cheryl Flemming (Michael); eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Wilbur Granderson, Jr. (Darnel), Larry Granderson (Julia), Wilma Smith (Eugene) and Janet Sebree; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 18, 2017, at Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
