Michael K McCoy

Mike was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 20, 1958 to the late Charles Raymond and JoAnn Elizabeth

(Martin) McCoy. He worked at St. Mary's Hospital and then at GFI / Covance for many years as a study

coordinator. Mike enjoyed golfing, following college basketball and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He

loved the time he spent as a softball umpire. Mike was a wonderful father, brother, uncle and will be

deeply missed.

Mike is survived by his son, Grant McCoy (Andrea); sisters, Charlene Fiedler (Mike) and Lisa Maurer

(Jim); aunt, Judy Chaffin; niece, Emily Bredhold (Bob); nephews, Michael Fiedler (Amy), Eric Maurer

(Rachel), and Joey Fiedler (Emily); and 6 great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Browning

Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Father Bernard T. Etienne officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Browning Funeral

Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home on Friday.

The family would like to thank Michael's close group of friends, especially Kevin Wallace, for all of
