Martine (Epley) Parker, age 87, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the West River Health Campus. Martine had worked for Shane Manufacturing. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Eastern Star, the Disabled American Veterans, VFW Post #1114 Ladies Auxiliary, Eastside Rotary, Honored Ladies of the Shrine, Prime Timers of Old North Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. Surviving Martine are her daughter, Donna (John) Baumeyer of Evansville; son, Larry (Norma) Parker of Wadesville, daughter-in-law, Sandy Parker of Evansville; five grandsons, Mark (Jane) Parker, Scott (Denise) Parker, Chris (Julia) Parker, Justin (Megan) Parker and Dean Parker and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Catherine Lou Corn of Indianapolis and Beverly (Don) Vaughn of Columbia, SC; her niece, Bobbie Jean Voisine, nephew, Fredd Ott, great niece, Sherril Hutchinson and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Parker; son, Randy Parker and great granddaughter, Quinn Martine Parker. Funeral services for Martine will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Gene Backes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
