

22, 2015, at Lucy Smith King Care Center under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.
Ralph worked at Whirlpool in the refrigerator line for many years. He retired from Lewis
Bakery where he was a truck driver for 25 years. He was a founding member of
Ambassador Baptist Church and a current member of Airline Baptist Church. When he
was well, he loved to fish and go boating down at the green river. He started his own
business in a shop behind his house repairing boats and chainsaws. Ralph enjoyed
woodworking as a hobby during his retirement. He loved his dogs. Most of all he was a
great family man and treasured his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Roy and Wilma Moore.

Wife of 69 years: Velma Elois Moore Henderson, KY
1 Daughter: Phyllis Stone and husband Ron Evansville, IN
4 Grandchildren: Marty Wilson, Wendy Wilson, Dusty Wilson and Kelly Gudorf
9 Great Grandchildren: Justin, Kirsten, Stephanie, Steven, Brennan, Trevor, Ryland, Zoey-
Ann and Micah

Relatives and friends are invited to Ralph’s Life Celebration from 10:00 AM until service
time on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be
conducted at 11:00AM with Reverend Nathan Whisnant officiating. Burial will follow in
Alexander Memorial Gardens in Evansville, IN.
Pallbearers will be: Justin Wilson, Stevie Frederick, Brian Gudorf, Steven Thomas, Marty
Wilson, Brian Evans
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
