Randall Van Poole, 53, of Evansville, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born June 17, 1960, in Vanderburgh County to Edna and the late James Poole.
He worked at different jobs; his favorite was covering pool tables with his brother. He attended Howell Baptist Church and First Christian Church and was a graduate of Reitz High School.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, James R. Poole.
He is survived by his son, Austin J. Poole of Newburgh; mother, Edna Poole; brothers, Donald (Carolyn) and William (Brenda) Poole, both of Evansville, and Rodger (Karen) Poole of Newburgh; sisters, Pollyanna (Larry) Franks of Allentown, PA and Diann (Glen) Schlensker of Evansville; uncle, Paul Ausenbaugh of Evansville; ten nieces; one nephew; great-nieces and nephews; and his dog, Rudy.
Services will be 11:00AM, Monday, October 21, 2013, at Alexander Memorial Park Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin. Friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Deaconess Hospital for the loving care they provided Randy.
