

Mr. Feuerbach was born July 14, 1918, in Evansville, IN, to Gustav and Edith Julia, nee Repphan, Feuerbach, along with three brothers and four sisters. He graduated from Reitz High School in 1936 and married his high school sweetheart, Anna Francis Galloway, on July 30, 1936, in Evansville, IN. He was an honorably discharged veteran of World War II, having flown multiple combat missions with the 15th Air Force in North Africa, Italy, and the European theaters as a B17G flight engineer and top turret gunner.
After returning from the war, Roy and Ann built a home and started a family on the west side of Evansville. He returned to work in the printing field as a Folder Operator with Keller-Crescent, in Evansville, where he invented and sold rights to a high-pressure hot gluing attachment for folders which was used in the industry for many years. Roy and Anna then moved to Springfield, Ohio, where they teamed together to identify production requirements, design the floor plan, and implement the most efficient printing production processes at that time. Then Roy was authorized to buy equipment for the startup of Carpenter Lithographing, Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH, with an Associate’s Degree in Management in 1968. Roy retired as the Superintendent for Standard Printing Corporation, Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1989.
He enjoyed being with people and helping anyone in need, square dancing, fast-pitch softball, golf, reading historical western novels, and watching western movies. He was also a community volunteer supporting Meals-On-Wheels and the American Red Cross.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna; brothers, Russell Lee, Leo, and Earl Feuerbach; sisters, Hazel, Helen, Margie, and Selma.
He will be missed by his son, Steven J. Feuerbach, USAF Ret.;
daughter, Ms Nancy K. Schuler;
brother, Chester Feuerbach;
four grandchildren, Devin Schuler, Matthew Feuerbach, Michael Feuerbach,
and Melissa Feuerbach;
three great-grandchildren;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4 , 2012, at Alexander’s West Side Memorial Park in Evansville, IN.
