Teddy B Edwards

He was born in Morris, OK and moved with his family to Grayville, IL at a young age. Teddy retired from Mounts Electric and was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of First Christian Church, where he often served on the Board. He also served on the Board of the Wabash Christian Nursing Home in Carmi, IL. Teddy was a fan of drag racing, and, at one time, owned his own racing team.

He is preceded in death by parents and his brother, Ben Edwards.

Teddy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beatrice; daughter, Karen Sallee; grandchildren, Krista, Jeffrey, and Curtis Sallee; and, six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2014 at Alexander North Chapel with Pastor Jerry Clark officiating and burial following in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
