Thelma L. Shaw, 88, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2012 at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. She was born on June 3, 1924 in Fort Branch, IN to the late Ennes and Ruby (Scales) Shaw. She was a member of the Wadesville General Baptist Church. Besides her parents, Thelma is also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne O. Shaw, who passed away on June 20, 2002, a son, Richard Shaw in 1987, a grandson, David Shaw, and 4 brothers, William, Fred, Jerry, and Bob Woolston. She is survived her children, Diana Shaw Knapp of Fort Branch, IN, Gary Wayne (Tina) Shaw of Patoka, IN, Kenneth Leon (Cindy) Shaw of Mulberry, FL, Larry Joe (Janie) Shaw of Indianapolis, IN, Kenny McGrew of Union City, TN, and daughter In-law, Barbara Shaw of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, Steve Woolston of Rockville, IN, Bettie Shaw of Traverse City, MI, Beulah Miller of Daleville, IN, Carol Davis of Haubstadt, IN, Donald Woolston of New Harmony, IN, Kenneth Woolston of Morgantown, IN, Judy Buck of Indianapolis, IN, Dennis Woolston of Evansville, IN, Zella Frey of Owensville, IN, and David Woolston of Mitchell, IN, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Services for Thelma will be on Wed. Aug. 29, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home, located on hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Pastor David Johnson will be officiating. Entombment will be in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville, IN. Visitation will be on Tues. Aug. 28, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
