William L. Hebner, 85, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at home. He was born April 24, 1928, in Evansville, to Leo William and Effie (Owens) Hebner. William was a conductor for the CE&I Railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents; his second wife, Mae (Lefler) Hebner; and his third wife, Flossie Eudora (Mitchell). William is survived by his daughter, Gail Ann Campbell (Greg) of Charlotte, NC; son, Steven M. Hebner (Kathy) of Monroe, Oregon; his companion, Geraldine Seibert; his friend, Henry Scott; granddaughters, Audrey D. Hebner, Jennifer, Heather, and Misty. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Titzer Family Funeral Homes, Meyer Chapel, 100 E. Columbia St., Evansville, Ind., (812) 424-9288. Reverend William Carlisle will officiate with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
