I remember my first time meeting Andra,  I was 11 years old playing with my friend Cassandra at their house on Lewis & 20th Street in Long Beach California. He always seemed so protective of here and concerned about where she was going or what she was doing when we played outside.  Sometimes he would say "San you're getting ready to come inside the house now. I use to say Cassandra why is Andra always telling you when to come inside?  I said it's not even that late and I want to play some more, lol. As me and her grew older in life, i realized that Andra was the kind of big brother i always wanted in my life, but never had. When we was younger Andra may have felt I was a bad influence on Cassandra ( i think i was too at that time, lol) but i still loved her like my blood sister nevertheless. Although we got in a little trouble on and off as teenagers, well Andra was still kind and respectful towards me whenever i would come to their house to visit Cassandra. He was never mean or rude to me. He was indeed a great person inside. Rest in peace Andra 💙 

I look at your picture and I'm in disbelief. My friend who was my brother  has transitioned. I remember when we met young boys hanging out in the streets of Long Beach.  We share so many memories in your apartments before you were married. I will cherish those times when you gave a brother confidence in rough times with that country accent.  I remember you falling asleep and Kenroy would take your Car. You were very mad but the fellas would be laughing. I remember 12 play came out and you sung that song for months. Andra, where can I start...? 
I know your sister Big P and San loved you soo much. When you were coming to Texas, they were getting ready for you ! My big brother and his family on the way, they would say.  San would be buying the liquor and Big P would me have me cleaning up the house ! 
I remember one time you were down here in Texas and we were drinking beers and I said to you ," you know Big P told me she was going to get you to beat me up?" And you said, "you know I can get you Big E?" Lol And I responded, Nah I use to tackle down big bulls, I'm a country boy!" 😆😆 And you looked at me and we just laughed.
I miss those good ole days when me and you were rolling in my red mustang drinking a beer. I remember one time you said I talk funny. I guess that's why your sister said she married me and I told you nah I'm just a hard working country boy , then we both spilled our drinks. You were yelling "Long Beach!" and I yelled "Crenshaw!" And he told me to stop lying I was from the country. 😆 
Hey bro, I wish we could've spent more time together, but I'm happy for the times we spent. You'll be missed.

My condolences to the family sending love and support.  I don't have any recent memories but my memories date back over 20 years.  I remember you being such a honest person so handsome and full of life. I remember you were always such a protector of your  sisters.  I remember when we were kids, you would physically have to chase Cassandra,  to get her to come inside the house. You never seemed to mind you did anything to protect her.  You were just an all-around good guy and you will be missed.... fly high Andra.  

To my oldest and dearest friend Cassandra,  I love you please give your family my love as well. Please know  that you are all in my prayers.  I'll talk to you again soon dear.

Uncle Andra, I remember one of the last times I saw you. You were laying in the middle of the road. 
Mom was leaving granny's house and you didn't want her to go so you jumped on the hood of her truck demanding she stay and refused to get down until she did. You kept hanging on even when she backed out of the driveway. Once she brake checked, you slowly slid off of the truck to the ground and then you just laid there for a minute. We drove around the corner and watched, waiting for you to get up, and after a minute you did. Then you just walked back into granny's house like nothing had transpired moments ago. 
That was a night I'll never forget, along with many other (maybe not so wild) memories of you that I have. You were a funny, cool and loving uncle and those memories will never fail to bring a smile to my face. Rest in everlasting peace now uncle.

Thank you for being a great friend to my brother which made me have a extended brother, I remember going into labor and you guys were all at the house, y’all were all cool and I was a wreck and of course Ernest was cracking jokes one of many memories. Dear Andra,

I miss you. I had a dream that you were driving in the mountains, the mountains were white, you were in in a brand new red convertible, you had on a red polo shirt, and you were young. Your skin was beautiful and glowing and you radiated so much peace. When I woke up, I imagined when we met again that you would take me for a ride, we would talk and laugh, we'd both be young and I'd be riding shotgun. Oh if only... When my heart aches, my dream comforts me because I know you're alright. A few memories: I remember texting you and you replied that you were just thinking about me because you heard Usher's song "there goes my baby". You said "....awkward" lol. You would always call me little girl or baby girl and I would say "I'm not a baby, I'm a grown woman" and you'd say "but you're going to always be my baby sister". When I would sing on the phone you'd say "You know you can't sing! And we all know I'm the singer in the family." And you would re-sing my verse. You were right. The times you got mad at me and told me that if something happened to you that I better not be crying at your funeral and if I did you were going to jump up and slap the mess out of me. I will be crying while expecting a resurrection. :') Andra, thank you for always telling me how proud you are of me, it meant a lot. I will forever miss your laughter, singing and humor. Thank you for loving me with an agape love. I love you always big brother.

I think of how excited you would get talking about the Bible and how good God is. You always said you miss Stacey so much, now I know you and your big brother are together again, smiling down on us. No more worries, no more sickness.

With our birthdays being so close together, we were alike in so many ways. We shared some of the same passions, and interests, especially music.
