Beausejour Hendry Pierre-Antoine (Beau), 69, of Everett, passed away at home of natural causes April 22, 2010. He was born December 30, 1940, in Port-de-Paix, Haiti to Guillaume and Marie-Clemence Yvonne. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Fulda, Germany, graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Political Science and Communication and worked for Boeing for 25 years, retiring in 2003. He was an avid reader especially of the Bible, history and politics; loved watching documentaries, football, and listening to talk radio; enjoyed all things involving aviation and could identify just about any plane in the sky from the sound of its engine. Beau was a dedicated husband and father. He and his wife experienced the changing scenes of life in the joyous and fruitful companionship which the Lord had entrusted to them. We have lost the best of men.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Nativida and brother Lovinsky. He is survived by his wife Josette; son Carl-Philippe; daughters Angelique Yvonne (Samuel) McGuire, Nancy and Linda; granddaughters Ianna and Yali; siblings Marie-Therese, Renette, Hugo, Romel, Aurore, and Guillermo; and numerous brothers and sisters in Christ who adopted him when he was far from home.
We will miss you, Beau, and rejoice at the thought of seeing you in heaven.
"And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them" (Rev. 14:13).
Services will be Saturday, May 8, 11am, at New Life Foursquare Church 6830 Highland Drive, Everett, WA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Pierre-Antoine Memorial c/o New Life Foursquare Church for Haiti relief or “The Ripple Effect”.
