Betty Irene Gobel born Nov. 30, 1933 died March 7, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones and was immediately greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as she drew her last breath on earth and her first in heaven. Betty had a successful career in sales first starting out selling Girl Scout cookies, where she quickly outsold her friends. Eventually as a young wife and mother wanting to subsidize her growing family and budget, she sold Tupperware. Her husband Jack Gobel would leave his career with the telephone company in San Lorenzo, Ca. and together they would open Cascade Party Sales in Everett Washington, a Tupperware distributorship, until their retirement. Through this business, they met so many friends and traveled extensively. After retirement, they traveled together until her one and only “date” in life could no longer travel. She faithfully cared for Jack until his death in Aug. of 2018. Betty always expressed gratitude, she was delighted to have spent the last 5 months having her sons Kurt, and Scott living with her until her assisted living apartment was completed and ready for her to move in. She leaves behind their spouses and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, their oldest daughter Debbie preceded them both in death.
A memorial service for Betty will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 from 10:00 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203.
