May 14th, 1933 - June 10th, 2026

Betty Ann was born at home in Fountain County, Indiana, to Florence and Paul Richardson on May 14th, 1933. She was preceded in death by both parents, son Richard, sister Wanda, and brother James and Frank.

She is survived by daughter Denise Omelia (husband Paul), and son David Winspear (wife Marcela), as well as three grandchildren Kristin Nopson, Evan Omelia, and Adela Winspear, and great grandson Theodore. She is also survived by brothers Edwin (Clarence), Paul (Wayne), David and baby Michael (Robert) Richardson.

The family moved to Illinois where she graduated from Eastern Illinois State College. After working as a legal secretary in Urbana, Illinois, she married Compton Winspear and moved to Southern California where she worked as a secretary at a major aerospace firm.

In 1966 she moved to Everett, WA and again worked as a secretary at Everett Community College. She enjoyed gardening, canning fruits, pickles and jams, and was an avid bowler, crossword and jigsaw puzzler, and a member of the Snohomish County Mycological Society.

Her ashes will be returned to Coal Creek Cemetery in Fountain County, Indiana, less than a mile from her birthplace.
