Our dear Mother, Beverly J Gregory, sadly passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 97.
She was born in Everett October 26, 1926 and graduated from Everett High school. She loved music and singing and always had music playing in her home. When she was younger, she sang in local night clubs and on local radio stations. We were told she could not afford the music lessons needed at the time and that her career was put on hold for marriage and raising 3 children. Mom never stopped singing when she had the opportunity along with her mother at the Normana Hall in Everett. It brought great pleasure to both knowing their passion for entertainment was alive and well, albeit contained in a small friendly community.
She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, healthcare guru and food supplement expert that we were always learning something from her exuberance for life. She loved shopping and talking to everybody including strangers. That dynamic shopper who never met a shopper she didnt like. She was one of a kind that most everyone that met her loved being in her presence. She was loved by her neighbors at Little Mountain Estates in Mount Vernon where she lived for the past 28 years. She truly had a heart of gold, always helping others and giving hugs when needed. She loved gardening and was an amazing interior decorator that seemed professional grade when putting an interior home decor together. She was always excited about most everything she did for herself and others. An emphasis on others.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Arne and Nellie (Olsen) Kolstad, her husband Myles (Jim) Gregory, her x-husband Don C Dulin and son Terry B Dulin.
Beverly leaves behind her children Stephen (Chona) Dulin, Connie (Ben) Valencia, grandchildren Cassandra (Barry) Quiel, Adam ( Coulby Jenkins) Dulin, step children Blake ( Kathy) Gregory, Lynn Gregory, Carol Trinidad, John ( Diane ) Gregory and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her extended family.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
Special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Mount Vernon and Mountain Glen Retirement Home.
