Brandon Hadi Kashef (BK) beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the tender age of 19. Born in Olympia, Washington, he resided with his family in Bothell for the past ten years, graduating in 2012 from the Secondary Academy for Success (SAS). Brandon enjoyed drawing, hanging out with friends, going on long walks, catching more fish than his grandpa while on their fishing trips, and listening to music. Brandon was pretty certain that no one on this earth had the broad taste in music that he had, listening to everything from dub step to Beethoven and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Brandon has many relatives that live in Iran and he took great pride in his Persian heritage. From the time he was born, Brandon had an "old soul" personality and a spirit of discernment that made him able to reach out to people and accept people in a special way. At times, he really struggled with what he saw going on in the world around him because of his tender heart. An old therapist of his was fond of saying that he was so special, his heart was just too big for this world. He certainly carried the burdens of the world on his shoulders. Free of those burdens now, we wait for the day we can see him again for eternity. Brandon is survived by his Dad; Cameron (Baze) Kashef, Mom; Lisa Kashef, Sister; Ariana Brittie Kashef, Grandfathers; Ronald Cochran and Mohammed Hadi Kashef, Grandmothers; Ruth Cagle, Joyce Rhodes and Manijheh Kashef, and by many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his beloved uncle; Ramin Mesghali. A viewing will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett, WA, from 5-7pm. Brandon's Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Mill Creek Foursquare Church, 1415 164th St SW in Lynnwood, WA at 6:30pm. Anybody who was ever touched by Brandon or would like to come support the family is welcome. Flowers are fine, but if you would rather make a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation or any place doing research on Neuropsychology, he would've loved that, too. Arrangements are being held under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home in Everett, WA. Please visit www.evergreen-fh.com to leave your condolences on Brandon's online guestbook.
