

Brian Patrick East was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, cousin, and friend of many. He was born to Wallace and Ruth East on July 21, 1972- in Harbor City California. As a baby he was christened at Saint Francis Church. As a teen he would make the decision to give his life to Christ and decided to be baptized at 19 in Torrance California at the Baptist Church he attended.
Brian was a very active child. He fished and went camping with his family. He played on a baseball team and took Jiu Jitsu, piano, swimming and more. He was always an avid reader and loved books of various topics. He inherited a love for music and cooking from his father and baking from his mother.
Brian attended Alexander Fleming Middle School where he joined the drama club and acted in several plays. He then attended Narbonne High School where he played varsity football. After graduation he studied at Harbor College and Renton Technical College.
Brian’s love for cooking eventually led to his first job as a cook for El Pollo Loco Restaurant as a teen. He would later get his culinary arts degree and serve as a chef for Marriott and Safeco Field- Home of the Seattle Mariners. He also worked customer service positions for various companies such as Western Wireless, Verizon, Google, Zillow and others. His dream was to have his own food truck and Bistro or Beastro, as he would call it.
Brian will be dearly missed by his mother Ruth East, sister Tonia East Phanor, brothers Michael and Marvin East, and son Gabriel Phillips. His entire family, and many friends.
