He was born in Everett, Washington to Robert and Leatha Johnson on March 26, 1951.
Brian worked most of his adult life in construction owning his own drywall business. He helped his son Brandon build his house in Ellensburg and was helping his son Jason with house repairs prior to his death. He spent many afternoon tinkering in his garage shop.
His other pastime was hunting ‘varmits’ with his brother or his son and grandson. His last hunting trip was the first of May to Deer Lodge, Wyoming with his son and grandson shooting ‘varmits’, checking fall hunting site, visiting museums and doing ‘guy’ things.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Robert H. Johnson. He survived by his wife Vicki Rowe Johnson at the family home, his mother Leatha Johnson of Everett and his brother Dale Johnson of Granite Falls. He is also survived by his sons Brandon Thomas (Courtney) of Kennewick, and Jason Thomas (Karlee) of Marysville. And his grandchildren Brydon Thomas, Gwen Thomas and Wyatt Letery, extended family including the Browns and McCrackens, numerous cousins and friends. He dearly loved time spent with his family.
