

He was born on a farm near the small town of Westmoreland, KS to Ted and Erna Malloy. He grew up in the area and married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Fouraker in 1950.
He joined the Air Force in 1952 and served as an Electronic Instructor for four years. They moved to Everett, WA in 1957 where he worked for The John Fluke Manufacturing Co. for 26 years before he retired.
For the past 3 months he resided at Sheba’s Love Adult Family Home in Arlington, WA where he received excellent care, kindness, compassion, and professionalism from the entire staff.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Patty after 62 years and his only brother, Marlin. He leaves behind son, Michael and wife, Sara; grand-daughters, Kirstin (Austin) Matson, Rhonda Carlson, and great-granddaughter, Ava Matson and great-grandson, River Matson.
Byron was a life long, very active member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church Marysville, WA.
