Charlotte Elizabeth Westmoreland joined her Lord and Savior Oct. 19, 2012. Born in Tacoma Jan 19, 1922, to Odin & Beatrice Vick, growing up, she lived in Washington, Oregon, and California. She met the love of her life, Benjamin, at the U of W. They were married May 2, 1941 and have lived in Everett since 1942.
Happily married for over 71 years, she was also Ben’s legal secretary for 50 years.
Charlotte was active at Bethel Baptist Church, Everett Ladies Musical Club, Power Squadron, and Coast Guard Auxiliary. With Ben, she made 25 trips to Alaska on their boat.
She is survived by her husband Ben; daughters Anne Robinson (Dwight), Janet Bryant (Ned), Mary Robinson (Markham); 4 grandchildren—Barbara Bosch (Eric), Lt. Col. Bill Bryant (Sherry), Lynne Green (Louis), Annemarie Solbrack (Ken); 8 great-grandchildren—Heather Roberts, Shane and Salena Womble, Elizabeth and David Bryant, Daniel, Heidi, and Katrin Bosch; and 1 great-great grandchild Lynae Roberts.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 25, at Bethel Baptist Church, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or The Gideons International (PO Box 501, Everett, 98206.)
