She was a great and capable lady. May God give comfort and peace in the hearts of her family.

So Hard to believe my friend has been gone for a year. Truly you were a friend to all and especially your Missionaries on the field. Love you my true friend, and praying your family are being strong and especially today being it's been a year since you have gone on to a better place.

This was me (age 5), along with my siblings (ages 4 & 3 or there abouts) when Sis. Denny first met us. She knocked on our door and invited 3 little kids to Sunday School at the OC United Pentecostal Church. That was 47 years ago! All 3 of us, now married, with our own kids, in various ministries, are still living for God! If it wasn't for the Denny family, we don't know where we'd be and we certainly would never have known about our blessed Savior! Their  entire family along with many extended family members have become treasured friends through the years. We will never forget the precious and beautiful Sis. Coral Denny. Our love, prayers and gratitude continue with all of you! We love you all so much! ♥

Knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of Sis Denny is a true blessing and we feel very privileged to have known her. We realize that we were blessed to have been able to share in her life in all those times she visited us on the mission field; Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Australia. It was always a joy having her come and be able to spend time with our family. She was a great substitute Grandmother to Laura and Timothy and she never came empty handed always showering them with love and gifts.  Those memories will always be very precious to us. Our deepest condolences, our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Sister Denny was one very sweet and kind lady who we had the pleasure of knowing over many years as missionaries. It was always with great pleasure we had in her in our home, meeting our grand children and sharing a meal. Coral visited Papua New Guinea various times and always took the hardships in her stride even when her bag and passport were stolen!! She always had a cheerful smile and these problems did not overwhelm her!
We know it will be a huge loss to Brother Denny and her children and grandchildren. We can take heart that she has a great reward waiting and she can look forward to "Well done..."

What a precious lady was our Sister Coral Denny.  She saw possibility, potential, success in doing anything with the right attitude, for the right reason(s), the right way (GOD'S WAY).  What a wise, godly woman she was.  

We share some photos here with loving memories of our trip to Pohnpei with them in 2004.  The Dennys introduced us to Micronesia at that time and those islands we have now served since 2008.  We saw the Dennys in action, and Sister Denny's love and respect for Brother Denny was noticeable and genuine.  What a powerful influence she was upon younger ladies, wives and mothers.

THANK YOU, SISTER DENNY, for a job well done.  We love and miss you!

Mom, I know you are not in this body anymore. I look at you and remember... and even imagine your youth.
In this now still form; you grew, you played, you learned.
The body you possessed lays well used.

The lines distinguished on your face, crease where there were innumerable smiles. Your brow parades the hours of concentration and determination.

Though you operated your small frame with the energy of 10 others, it now rests from its call to do more.

The effort you most tackled was to share with any other, the conviction of God in Christ Jesus is our salvation.

Somewhere, you heeded an invitation from Jesus that propelled you ceaselessly. This invitation has now taken you beyond our grasp.

Though you fly in other worlds, we reap your love, we reap your devotion.

I think of you  as a miracle girl who made the most use of what God gave to her. You grew into an irresistible lady with the sweetness of Jesus. You built others with humble wisdom, knowing well an invitation awaits us all.

Here, within this body; you loved, you sought, you listened, you laughed-to-tears, you worked with joy.
Here in this body you lived fully.

I hope to spend my body and time as productively as you showed us can be done.

I look forward to seeing you an inexhaustible form.
I am forever honored to be taught by you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sister Denny was one of the kindest, sweetest, most helpful people I have ever known in my life. She had a beautiful way of encouraging people. I once went to Sister Denny with a special request and needed a little bit of advice, and she was understanding, and gave it a extremely good advice. She will be sorely missed in the kingdom of God.

We are sadden by the recent passing of Sister Denny and send our love and condolences to Bro. Denny and the family during this time. Both my wife Sister Goodare and myself have some very fond memories of Sister Denny and Bro Denny whilst they were RD for the South Pacific. Sister Denny was a tremendous blessing to us both and the work here in New Zealand.

Darry and I are so sorry for your loss. Our memories go back a ways. When I think of Coral I can see her ever present smile. She exemplified the beauty and grace of a Christlike spirit.  She possessed a “I can do it” spirit.  She was strong. She was a doer.  She met the challenges of life. Tiling, laying floors, redoing bathrooms, painting and gardening were not beyond her. Above all she was a partner in ministry. She served in so many capacities: pastors wife, District Superintendent’s  wife, Regional Director’s  wife and a missionary. That role was the hallmark of her life: teaching, ministering, keeping a home and loving others. Her passion for the lost describes her life. Death has taken her from us , but her legacy lives on. comfort that can only comes from Him, and he does all things well.

My deepest sympathy is with you Brother Denny and family. It was always a joy to have Sister Denny and Brother Denny in our home. I am sorry for her passing but she has passed over to a better home where there is no more pain, suffering and sorrow. She's now dancing around the throne with Jesus and many other friends that has gone on before.

During some sixty years of working with many missionaries I consider Coral Denny to be one of the most Christ like, dedicated and servant spirited missionaries I had the joy of working with.  Richard Denny for many years served as one of our very outstanding missionary leaders.  Beside him was that precious, smiling, sacrificing wife who was willing to make any sacrifice needed in her missionary work. 

The missionary work done by the Dennys in the Philippines was most outstanding.  During the three years we lived in the Philippines we had an opportunity to observe how the church in the Philippines loved their missionaries, Brother and Sister Denny.  Then after their appointment as Regional Director to the Pacific Region they traveled ministering to the needs of thousands throughout the Pacific Region.  They became an important part of that region loved by the ministry and membership of that vast part of the world.

Brother Denny, Helen and I have experienced what you are now going through and we are standing behind you in prayer.  May the peace of God fill your life and in times of loneliness may you feel our loving Savior near.

I’ve been going through our old photos to scan the hard copies and slides and organize them with the thousands of those we’ve collected since digital photography took over.   I’m not nearly done but making progress.  My collection includes some from SOM 1974 and I came across one I took of your folks seated with Alan at some event.  They were such a good-looking couple!

Given the passing of your mom, I want to send our heartfelt condolences and ALSO attach the photo.  I remember your mother as being a marvelous hostess and I’m sure so much, much more to you.  Please convey our warmest greetings to your dear dad.  We trust and pray that he will go forward with courage and joy in the knowledge that she has gone into the heavens to forever be with the Lord, waiting for that glad reunion day with those of you who will follow. We deeply appreciate their many years of missions ministry and dedicated service in the Kingdom of God in other ways.

I just want you to know that I have good memories of your dear mother, who was as close to being an “angel” as anyone could imagine. Sister Coral was a grand lady.  As many have stated she was the embodiment of kindness and a devoted servant of God as well as a staunch partner to her life's love, Richard.

Sis Coral Denny was among the most gracious of women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and serving with while she and her husband oversaw the District of WA, UPCI.

Some individuals ooze with genuine kindness. Sister Denny was that person to me.  I can only smile knowing she has her eternal reward walking with Jesus.

This wonderful, loving woman of the Lord will be greatly missed.  She is such a beautiful lady in every way - inside and out.  We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Bro. Denny, family and friends

I will always remember her beautiful smile and her hard work when there was work that needed to be done, she got it done. She was my first Regional Director's wife when we came into Missions as Missionaries to Australia/Solomon Islands. She was a friend from the very first day we met. Truly she has earned her crown and thankfully she will never have to be in Pain no more.  Bro Denny and family my heart goes out to all of  you and please know we will hold you all up in prayer. Just rejoice she is shining that beautiful smile all over heaven. We love you and will always have you in our hearts.

There has never been a sweeter, kinder person than Sister Coral Denny. During many years of working with her at the UPCI headquarters, I was always greeted with a hug and a smile. One particular memory....During the passing of the mantle service at general conference one year they were giving out mantles. Brother Haney  gave them to the ministers and ministers' wives and told them to find ministers and ministers' wives to give them to. I was so disappointed. While I very much worked in full-time ministry, I was not licensed. As I started to leave the auditorium, Sister Denny stopped me with one mantle left in her hand. "Sister Lisa, God wants you to have this one. You are very important to Him and to the Kingdom". My eyes filled with tears as she hugged me and prayed over me and my ministry. Sister Denny, I've never forgotten your words and the mantle is on display in my bedroom. I see it every day and it reminds me that God's hand is upon my life. You will be missed sweet lady but we will meet again one day.

Fond memories of a very sweet and Godly lady.  I visited CBC when Coral and Richard were dating (as far as any Bible College students could afford), they made a powerful couple at all times.  God’s very best to the entire family.

To know Sister Denny was to love her.   When she walked in a room, peace walked in with her . . . . And she was practical.  I remember sharing how I was going to Sam’s Club and picking up large catering size kitchen utensils for the Bible College kitchen.   She looked at me and said with that sweet way of hers, “You’re not going to do all the cooking for the Bible College are you?”   I said, “actually yes, I was planning on it.”    She said, “No Sister Robyn, you don’t need to do that, you have too many other things to do.  Leave it to someone that can give all their time to it.”    Always wise, always loving, always a friend.   I loved her so much and it was always an honor to have her in our home on those few occasions.  I will hug her again, when we meet around the throne.

The Heavens declare, and earthen vessels impact not only their circle of influence on earth, but also in Heaven. Cornelius had this even recorded about his life; “Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Paul wrote about earthen vessels having a treasure inside, in that a yielded human can reflect the very image of the Lord, Jesus Christ. The scriptures also speak of these as vessels of Mercy, and vessels of Honor. Bro and Sis Denny’s lives will not only be remembered in human history or world history. They have impacted the Kingdom of God and I am confident are a memorial before God, reflected in that glorious Heaven. 

I first met the Denny’s when we were appointed at the same conference to the mission field. We shared several School of Missions together.  A precious lady. 

On behalf of my wife and myself, I just want to say that Sis. Denny was an incredible lady of God. 
I will always cherish the 4 1/2 years that we spent working with the Denny’s in Lynwood, WA. 
Sis. Denny was like a mom to my wife and I and she was a grandmother to our girls. 
She will be missed, but thankful that we have the hope of seeing her again on the other side.
