I hard a hard family life when I was a kid. I loved it when I could see Skip and Georgine. My favorite times with Skip were when he would take me out to breakfast, just him and me, and when we could go work on the cars and go to races. My grandparents Norm and Cathy and I almost always got to spend Christmas with Skip and Georgine - my other best times. I'll miss you Skip even though I didn't get to see you very often any more. Say hi to my Grandpa for me. I love you both. I hope to see you soon Georgine.

Georgine, Like a lot of other folks I am truly saddened by Skips passing. I will forever remember the number of times he and you reminded me of the night I "forgot" to bring a coat to the races at Skagit and nearly froze. He certainly shed a lot of tears of joy laughing about it. Skip truly did it "his way". Skip, rest in peace my friend-until we meet again.

Georgine and their family I am terribly sorry for your loss. Skipper was a good mentor to many in the Motorsports community. I am glad that I was able to work with him and also do some playing. He will not be forgotten.

Skip was truly one of the most honest, giving, and funny people we knew. Always had a story or joke. We will always remember his huge smile and what he did for WQMA. That club would not be where it is if it weren't for the untold hours he AND Georgine have given to that club from mowing lawns to running the snack shack. The lives that you both have touched are too many to count and the lives that you have changed forever are immeasurable. Skip is gone but he will never be forgotten. RIP my friend.

Several years ago Skip and Iver were road tripping in Eastern Washington. We were passing Banks Lake and Skip asked if I wanted to go fishing. I said, "sure, why not?" Skip had the gear, and in no time we baited our hooks and cast our lines. After a while, with no action, I asked Skip " how do we know there are any fish here?" He flashed a big smile and replied, "Over, fishing is not about fish..."
I thought about that for quite a while and it dawned on is not about fish, it's about friends hanging out on the banks of a beautiful lake.
God speed, Skip, and maybe we can go fishing again one day.

Some men leave their mark on the world by the way they live and the difference they make to the lives they touch. Let each tear that falls be a gentle reminder that you and your husband truly loved each other, and made such a meaningful difference in each other's lives ~ and that is a gift that no loss or sorrow or time or distance can ever take away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
