She was born December 3rd, 1932, in Bowbells, North Dakota to mother Myrtle. Darlene worked for Weisfield Jewelers for 25 years, where she became assistant manager. She was a strong-willed woman who valued family and simple joys. She loved her Bichon and was deeply affected by the loss of her beloved dog, Princess, a year ago.
Family was important to her. She is survived by her son Randy Karg and his wife Donna, her daughters; Lisa Erickson and Lori Sloan. Her grandchildren Jenny Dalton, Randy Karg Jr, Ryan Karg, Mandy Leinbach and great-grandson Noah Dalton,
She now joins in passing- her husband Victor Haglund who died in 2016.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Darlene’s memory.
