I feel so incredibly lucky to say I knew you. There is a void that can't be replaced. Your kindness and positive energy will remain an example for so many. I miss your smile and early morning chats at the gym. I will miss the golf balls you left on the fence for Pete to practice with. For now I will say so long until we meet again.

My heart is heavy with sadness since hearing of Dave's passing. I met Dave just out of high school. He needed a "grunt" worker and hired me. While I only worked with him for about 2 years, I am still using skills he tought me 40 years later. Dave's kindness, gentle spirit and mentoring are the traits that any man would hope his son's would grow up to possess. I will miss our occasional chats and always remember him fondly. May family, and friends find comfort in faith and the honor of holding him close.

I was saddended to hear Dave had died.  He was an incredibly kind, gentle person.  I always felt good when i ran into Dave at the golf course.  He put other people first and is truly missed.  I feel fortunate to have known him.

Dave and Marilee welcomed us to Everett 19 years ago...and that never stopped.  Every time we met anywhere, he would stop and ask about me, my wife and family.  Cathy and I will miss his warm smile and his way of always greeting us, making us feel welcome.  We see all the things he was involved in through the Everett area and it is just Dave.  We will think about him...send blessings to Merilee and their girls...  THank you, Dave.  Bless you too.

We extend our sincere sympathy to you and your children and grandchildren, Merilee. We are not in Mukilteo at this time but were saddened to learn of Dave's unexpected death. It is difficult to imagine walking around the Fairview grounds without seeing Dave's warm smile and hearing his cheerful greeting. He will be missed, but remembered with fondness. Very saddened to hear I wont see Dave's smiling face at Church or around the golf course anymore.  My thoughts and prayers for all of the Family as he will be missed.

Sadly, I will not be able to attend Dave's service on February 8th.  I will be in Denver on business and I can not change all of my meetings there.  My thoughts and prayers will be with Dave's family and friends.

a great sadness ran through me on the hearing of Dave's passing, for the past 20+ years, Dave's face was always the first one I looked for when I attend events with my parents at EGCC, in the short chats we would have he was always interested in how the family and I was doing. we lost a great man in Dave Hanson! prayers for Marilee and the entire family. I was so sad to hear of Daves passing.  The world has truly lost a great human being!  What a wonderful man he was, so dedicated to his family and so generous with his talents and his time! I had the pleasure of working with Dave when he first began volunteering at Hopice and Home Care in Everett.  Dave arrived and was like a gift from above, he was my Volunteer handyman and there was nothing he wouldn't take on!  Once when I thought the job was too big for both of us I will always remember his words,  we can do it, the wheel is our friend! He was a true humanitarian and I feel blessed to have known him.  Sending my deepest sympathy, hold on to the many wonderful memories!

Dear Hansen Girls,  so saddened when Leita told me of Daves' passing.  He was always there at the Club to help us gals in decorating...with his wonderfulm smile.  It was a pleasure to see him drive by out in View Ridge..  Thinking  of you all...marysecoy

I was so saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He always had a twinkle in his eyes and a kind word. He was always kind to the staff of the Everett Golf & Country Club, including myself. My prayers to Merilee, Julie and all of Dave's many friends and family.

Oh Dave.  Peaches, Huey and I will miss you.  Even though we didn't know each other for very long, you were so easy to talk to and that smile just lit me up.  I'll think of you often.

I was shocked and very dismayed to hear of Dave's sudden passing.  I really enjoyed chatting with Dave on a regular basis.  My prayers to Merilee and the family.

I am so sad to hear this news, I met Dave as a volunteer for Hospice he always had a smile on his face and he loved to chat. He will be so missed here, we are Thankful for all his work here and I send my condolences to his family, he loved you all so much -big hugs to you all.

Dave was a major presence in our condominium.He was always willing to help or listen.
He was a fine man and a great neighbor.

I was so saddened to hear that Dave had passed away.  He was an exceptional person and I thoroughly enjoyed knowing him.  I knew him as a volunteer for Providence Hospice and Home Care. Dear Merilee and "the Hanson Girls".  Wow, A loss of such a great man.  He truly was 'a gentle-man.  I loved him like a father, the kind of father that was beyond any other, always so kind and warm.  Eager to talk, find out what's been going on.  Wanting to know how I was, how my girls were doing.  Dave would stop by my office on Broadway every so often to 'catch up'.   My first memory of Dave.......we lived on 100th in Marysville.  I was no older than 4 or 5.  I got up and went in the kitchen, it was still dark out. There was mom, cooking dad breakfast and there sat dad and Dave drinking coffee before they headed out to drive their Wonderbread trucks for delivery. Then years later, "the Hanson Girls" were my first babysitting job at 11.  To this day I cant think of any other 4 little girls that were the cutest, yet all so different. I adored Dave as a little girl as I adored him to this day.  Truly was a sad moment when I got the news he had passed.  My heart breaks for the "Hanson Girls, and Merilee.  And yes, I'am sure Dave is quite happy hanging out with Charlene......Peace and Love to you all, Sue Ann
