I am sad to hear of Dexter passing. We had quite a few talks. We had a love of animals in common. I would always ask him about OJ his cat. And I teased him about his pigeons. I actually wrote a song about him and his pigeons. I hadnt seen him much since he quit running the store but I used to live on 22nd and grand and would see him most everyday. RIP.

Daisy, we are all so sorry for your loss. Our prayers and angels are being sent to you and the family. Dexter told me so many crazy fun stories about him and my father (John Boomer). Dexter enjoyed his animals, both wild and domestic and I admire him for both. He was a wonderful and unique person who will be missed.
