

Don was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will always be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand. He had a playful sense of humor, and really enjoyed making people laugh.
Don is survived by his loving wife Melody, sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Lori, Ross and Amanda, and his four wonderful grandkids Tobin, Travin, Berkley, and Sadie. He is also survived by his father George, brothers Robert, Gary, David and sister Roxanne. He was preceded in death by his mother Delma, and brother Brian.
Don had a fulfilling career working at Scott Paper Company for over 24 years. He later drove trucks for Puget Sound Trucking and concluded his professional journey as an aircraft mechanic at Boeing.
In retirement, don enjoyed travelling, spent 5-6 years in Belize, he also loved fishing, boating and was a car enthusiast, and enjoyed completing home renovations.
Don and Melody recently acquired their forever home in Tyler, Texas, where he quickly put his remodeling skills to work.
Don will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life for Don Fairfax will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 1:00 PM.
An outdoor event, so dress warm, and bring a blanket to sit around the camp fire.
