Donald "Don" Weiss Sr. passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2017 in Marysville, WA. Don was born in Seattle, WA on April 4, 1936 and grew up in Cashmere, WA. After enlisting in the Marines at the age of 17, he fought in the Korean War and was honorably discharged after four years of service. In 1968 Don was hired by the City of Marysville Water Department where he happily worked for 30 years. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed taking vacations, playing cards with friends and family, and tinkering in his shop. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Darlene; children, Donald Jr. (Genelyn), Jim (Sue), Melanie (John), Moshe, and Dottie (Ethan); seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; along with numerous caring friends and family. Funeral service will be at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the VFW Veterans, Everett.
