Elena M. Goodrich Wille

Elena Goodrich Wille (93) passed away peacefully on March 10th. She is survived by her husband Earl Wille; son Terry (Carol) Goodich of Ellensburg, daughter Lynda Goodrich of Bellingham and daughter Kathleen DeCoite of Phoenix. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Brown Goodrich and son Errol Goodrich.

Elena was born in Ferndale and spent most of her life in the Everett/Lake Stevens area. Her later years she became a master bridge player and she and Earl enjoyed many rounds of golf all over the west coast.

She lived her life and passed on to her children to believe in living each day to the fullest – look ahead not behind and never put off to tomorrow what you can do today.

The family wants to thank Whatcom Hospice for their kindness and care in the last days of Elena’s life.

Memorials can be made to WWU Foundation for Women’s Basketball as Elena was a long-time fan of the Western Vikings.

Memorial Celebration will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Evergreen Mausoleum Chapel, 4504 Broadway Everett WA 98203.
