She was born on June 3, 1929, in Belfast, Ireland, and most recently resided in Everett, WA.
Elizabeth lived a life free of regrets, filled with a deep love for her family and a passion for travel. Her family always came first, and she cherished the time spent with her loved ones. She had a special affinity for her Irish roots and considered Ireland her favorite place in the world.
Professionally, Elizabeth was a talented tailoress and later became a saleswoman for Sears. She received multiple awards for her exceptional sales skills and dedication to her job.
Elizabeth leaves behind a rich legacy in her family. She was the beloved sister of Jim, Robert, Millie, and Jean. She is also survived by her children, Robert (Meg) Baker and Catherine (Chuck) Wagner, as well as her grandchildren, Allissia, Chad, Kate, Matthew, Laura and Sean; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Hanna, Conner, Breelyn, and Lakely.
In her lifetime, Elizabeth was fortunate to have been married to two wonderful men. She first married Robert Baker Sr. after meeting him in New Zealand, where they exchanged vows. After his passing in 1960, she found love again and married Harland in 1968. Together, they embarked on countless adventures, traveling to countries such as Ireland, Canada, England, and New Zealand. Their journeys allowed Elizabeth to indulge in her love for exploration.
Elizabeth's favorite bands and musical artists included Perry Como and 50's and 60's music, with her beloved song being "Oh Danny Boy."
Elizabeth Heil, or Lily as she was fondly known, will be remembered for her vivacious spirit, her love for her family, and her thirst for adventure. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who were blessed to know her. May she rest in peace.
