Enrique Miguel Rivas-Smith was born on October 10, 1998 in Everett, WA the son of Sampson Scott Flores-Smith and Nancy Rivas. Enrique walked in the arms of the Lord on June 27, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Rique attended Cascade High School and Evergreen Middle School in Everett, WA. He enjoyed playing football and video games. He loved Old School music and hanging out with friends and family. His dream was to become a motivational speaker to children who faced chronic and terminal illness. Rique wanted to dedicate his life to helping troubled teens by sharing his life experiences. Rique’s life could not be saved for the Lord had better plans for him in stored.
Enrique will always be remembered for his warm embracing nature for those he loved and cared for, his amazing smile and ability to bring one to others.
He is survived by his mother Nancy Rivas, Mom Brenda, stepmothers Stacy Moore and Richelle Littlejohn. He also leaves behind his beautiful daughter Eden Oleatha Rose Gregory-Smith; sisters Celina ,Yaimari, Hailey, and Aliza; brothers Junior, Sampson Scott, Angelo and Shaquille “BG” Jones. Great Grandma Mami Rosa, Grandma Mami Licha and Angelina (Jose) Aguilera, Grand fathers Juan Rivas and William D Smith. Aunt and Uncles; Reina Muñoz, Hugo Fernandez, William , Sam , Talaya, Tatianna and Sofia Smith, Lizette, Adrian and Isaac Rivas. As well as a host of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Sampson Scott Flores-Smith, great grandfathers Florencio Quiñones , Juan Manuel Rivas; great grandmothers Josefa Olaguez and Oleatha Smith.
