

George Warren Osborn, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, passed away July 25, 2021 at the age of 79. George along with his twin sister Bonnie Lee were born in Everett, WA to Clara & Omer Osborn on June 17, 1942. Upon graduating from Everett High School George continued his education at Everett Junior College, and the University of Washington before joining the United States Army in 1966. He attained the rank of Specialist while serving during the Vietnam conflict. Following his tour of duty George returned to Everett and then continued his schooling at the University of Washington. George subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. George remained a devoted Huskies fan his entire life. It was hard to get him out of his beloved purple and gold Huskies sweatshirts.
After college George accepted a position in Quality Assurance with the Defense Logistics Agency with whom he worked for until retiring in 2001.
George was a light hearted man with a lovingly sarcastic sense of humor. He was one to always make a joke and lighten the mood. He was a deeply loving father/grandfather to all his step children and grandchildren. George loved the Pacific Northwest and all the great outdoor activities of the area. He loved to take his children and grandchildren, fishing, hiking, and camping. He had a wonderful love of animals, from house hold pets to the birds and squirrels which lived around him. George loved photography and creating digital home videos of photos and music for his grandchildren. George was loved by everyone who met him and will be missed by all.
George is preceded in death by his parents Clara Mortvedt Osborn and Omer Osborn, as well as his twin sister Bonnie Lee Collins. He is survived by his wife Elvera Osborn; two brothers, John and Howard Osborn; four stepchildren, Christina Ellis, Darrin Ellis, Tamatha Mack, Tracy Wines; as well as 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A reception will occur Friday, September 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203. A private family committal service will occur Friday, September 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA 98208.
