Born in the wide-open landscapes of Wyoming, Gloria, lovingly known as Jean, lived a life rich with love, laughter, and cherished connections. Her heart was a tapestry of familial bonds, adorned by the warmth of her presence and the laughter shared with loved ones.
Though predeceased by her devoted parents, beloved siblings, and her cherished husband Don, Jean's legacy of love and kindness continues to flourish through her surviving family: her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her indomitable spirit, vibrant generosity, and infectious joy.
Jean's love for her family reached far beyond her immediate household. She remained the familial glue, linking relatives across the United States through heartfelt messages and shared stories on social media. These connections not only enriched her life but also touched the hearts of all who were blessed to be part of her extended family network.
A proud and spirited member of the Red Hat Society, Jean enjoyed countless outings, delightful lunches, and exciting trips with her group of Red Hat ladies. Her zest for life was evident in every adventure she embarked upon, exuding happiness and a sense of community among her dear friends.
As we reflect on the beautiful memories Jean gifted us, the family graciously asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. This gesture honors Jean’s compassionate spirit and supports a cause close to her heart.
In celebrating Jean’s life, we remember a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose laughter was contagious, and whose spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Let us come together to honor her memory and continue the legacy of love and connection she so generously shared.
