

Grace Stobbe, age 98, left this world to take up residence in her mansion just over the hilltop in Heaven on Saturday, March 9th. Born April 12, 1914 in St. Francis, Kansas, Grace was the 9th of 11 children born to James Arrants and Florence (Small) Arrants. She grew up on a farm and graduated from St. Francis High School. She married the love of her life, Robert Stobbe (1912-1976), on May20, 1933. They moved to Everett Washington in 1942 where they raised their three sons.
Grace was very active in church, Fairmont Open Bible (currently Harbor Light Church) where she taught Sunday school, served as Sunday School Superintendent, ladies missionary group president, played piano, organ and violin, along with singing in the choir. In 2011, the Sanctuary was named in her honor “Grace Worship Center” – “your grace is sufficient for us”.
She had worked most of her adult life with the Election Board and a short time at the Court House after her husband passed away.
Grace leaves behind three sons Kenneth (Merrilla), Leonard (Eileen) and Don (Kathy), 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
She will be greatly missed
