Ha Jin Lee

Ha Jin Lee, age 89, of Everett, WA, passed away peacefully in Lynnwood, WA, on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

He was born in Kimpo, South Korea, in February 1934, to Kyung Suk Lee and Kyung Ja Lee. He attended college at what is now known as Korean Aerospace University. Later he worked as the Vice President of a construction company. In 2000, he and his wife immigrated to Everett, WA, to be near his family and help raise his grandchildren. For several years, he worked part-time for his son at The Pastry Cafe in Lynnwood, WA.

He had great faith, devoted his life to church and his family, always smiled and laughed, and loved to eat noodles.

Ha Jin was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, and brothers. He is survived by his wife of 58 years (Young Sook Choi) along with his daughter (Kiyun Yoon), son-in-law (David Yoon), son (Kyu Lee), daughter-in-law (Helen Lee), and grandchildren (Aaron Yoon, Sharon Yoon, Davin Lee, and Katherine Lee).

His funeral service will be on October 13, 2023, at 10:30am at the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery at 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA, 98203, immediately followed by his graveyard service at the same location. Afterwards lunch will be provided at V Star Buffet at 620 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA, 98208.
