

Age 62, passed away on August 9, 2013. Dave was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 8, 1951. His family moved to Mountlake Terrace, Washington shortly after Dave’s birth where he grew up and attended Mountlake Terrace High School. Early on Dave fell in love with music and learned to play the drums. He taught himself to play many other instruments including guitar, flute, and keyboard and performed with many local bands. After being in the Army and serving in Germany Dave made his home mostly in Everett, Washington, working as an arborist for the City of Everett. Dave loved working outside and took every opportunity to help people with their yard maintenance. In 2007, Dave graduated from Lake Washington Technical College with an Associate’s of Applied Science Degree in the Electronics Technician Program. Five years ago he obtained a job at Electric Mirror in Everett. The people there became his second family and his support system for which his loved ones are eternally grateful for. Dave’s Christian faith was very important to him, giving him great comfort through his recent illness. Dave is preceded in death by his sisters; Patricia Morrow and Barbara Isaksen, his mother; Victoria Wilson and his father; Harold R. Wilson. Dave is survived by his daughter; Darcy Schultz, by grandson; James Schultz and great grandson; Carter Schultz of Kearney, Nebraska, and by granddaughter; Megan Schultz and great granddaughters; McKinzie and Briony Aden of Gothenburg, Nebraska. Dave is also survived by siblings; Jean Summers of Hamilton, Montana; Roy Wilson of Bellingham, Washington; Jim Wilson of Ferndale, Washington; Judy Wilson of Everett, Washington; Sharon Wilson of Snohomish, Washington; and Margie Kammerer of Moses Lake, Washington, plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services to celebrate Dave’s life will be held Thursday, August 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, Washington.
