James Paul Gagnon passed away peacefully on August 19, 2016, at the age of 73 in Lynnwood, Washington. James was born on December 18, 1942 in Bremerton, Washington to Ray and Helen Gagnon. James attended Everett High School and later joined the Navy in March of 1960 where he served aboard the USS Hollister and was discharged in January of 1963. James' only son was born in March of 1981, Michael James Gagnon. James spent many summers at his favorite vacation destination, Crescent Bar, Washington where he hosted friends and family, boated, water skied, jet skied, golfed, and spent many days enjoying the sun on the Columbia River. James enjoyed spending time with friends, working on cars, the outdoors, shooting, fishing and golfing, as well as his passion for taking care of his home and vehicles, always keeping them in pristine condition. James retired from Snohomish County Public works after serving thirty plus years. James is survived by his son, Michael Gagnon of Everett, WA and by his brother, Jon Gagnon of Round Rock, Texas.
