Jennifer "Jenni" Johnson, 48, of Everett, WA, passed away on November 23, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 3, 1974, in Seattle, WA, to Richard and Pam Long. Jenni was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many.
Jenni was full of love and life. She had a smile that warmed every room and heart. She was an amazing mother who would do anything for her girls and an incredible wife who loved and supported her husband, Mark, with everything she had. Jenni was also an incredibly talented photographer who saw the world differently through her eyes and lenses. She had a sassy and adventurous spirit, always ready for new experiences and shenanigans.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark, her daughters, Beth and Julie, and bonus daughter, Lucia. Jenni is also survived by her parents, Richard and Pam Long, her sister, Crissy Rasmussen, her sister and brother-in-law, Cathrin and Chad Capela, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John C. and Marian Snorsky Long, her maternal grandparents, Bob and Shirlee Bales Thompson, her maternal grandfather, Melvin Shenefield, and her maternal great-grandmother, Virginia Shenefield, from whom she received the nickname of Jenni.
Jenni attended Garfield Elementary School and graduated from Valley High School. Jenni worked at various places, including having her own photography business, before moving into her role as an Office Coordinator with the City of Everett, Public Works Department, where she made a lasting impact.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home - 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jenni to Providence Hospice and Home Care Foundation of Snohomish County.
