Obituary of Jeremy Lee Anderson
Jeremy Anderson was born on July 24th, 1977, in Kalispell, Montana, to Debbie and Brian Anderson. Jeremy grew up very close with his big brother, Douglas Anderson, and they spent their childhood playing with cousins and spending time with aunts, uncles, and their grandparents. It was finally in 1986 that Jeremy moved to Washington with his family. Jeremy graduated from Everett High School in 1995. Jeremy worked a few short-term jobs and eventually started working at Black Angus Restaurant. It was in 1999 that he met June Oshiro, who later became the mother of his children. During June’s first pregnancy and after ten years of employment at Black Angus, Jeremy started working at Ivar’s in 2005. June and Jeremy excitedly welcomed their first daughter, Logan Lily Anderson, on July 15th, 2005. Logan immediately became Jeremy’s pride and joy only to be matched by the birth of their second daughter, Chloe Rose Anderson, born on October 12th, 2007. Jeremy was best known for his dedication to his daughters, his compassion, his generosity, his acceptance and treatment of others, his kindness, and his willingness to always help those in need. Jeremy was very playful. You could always count on him for corny dad jokes, puns, pranks, love of 80’s music, his quick wit, and, of course, his cheese phobia! Jeremy loved road trips with family. He loved camping. He was a huge fan of the Seahawks. Jeremy was generous with his time; he was constantly offering to help new neighbors to move in. He called his mother every single morning before work. Most of all Jeremy will be remembered for how much he cherished any time spent with his family and friends. Jeremy died on March 2, 2023. He was 45 years old. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dick and Laverne Lindsley, his father Brian Douglas Anderson and by his cousin Joshua Lindsley. He is survived by his mother Debbie Ely, who he adored.. He leaves behind his big brother Doug (with Ruth) and by his sister Daisy Anderson, by his daughter Logan Anderson and Chloe Anderson. He also leaves behind his niece Lexi Anderson and Doug Anderson Jr., his cherished friend and the mother of his children, June Oshiro and his beloved friend Gene Jones… In addition, he leaves behind his many dear friends and colleagues at Ivar’s. A message from Jeremy that his family treasures and wishes to share widely is this: “Life is good, though, as long as I care about people, and people care about people. That’s all that matters in life.”
