Our children are the same age as Jian, and they grew up together, sharing so many beautiful childhood moments, playing together, laughing, and simply being kids. Our hearts are truly broken, and we cannot begin to imagine the depth of what you are enduring as parents, as a family, as souls who loved Jian so dearly.  please know that your pain is felt deeply by us, and we hold each of you—Siamak, Fernanda, Natalia, Illyana, Laylan, Sam, Hoda, and the entire family—very close in our thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻🤍

We will never forget Jian as a child, full of life and innocence, laughing and playing with Dariush. Those moments, those simple days of joy, are memories we will always cherish. Even the last time we saw him as a teenager, there was still that gentle spirit we remembered from his childhood.

Jian joon, 
you were our youngest and sweetest wedding guest. You were only a few months old and already the calmest and friendliest little soul. You celebrated with us the whole night.

A few years later, we visited you in Florida. You were a cute little toddler. We had much fun together playing with your Duplo train. You had such a beautiful, bright smile as you looked at me with your pure eyes and showed your care by bringing me Oreo cookies. We didn’t need many words to understand each other. 

The last time we met, you were a handsome teenage boy. You and your sisters played with and cared for my two little girls with so much patience and love. They both adored you and looked up to you. 

I remember you as a very empathetic, thoughtful, yet cheerful and polite, intelligent young man. You are and will forever remain in our hearts.

I am blessed to have known Jian and be reached by his kindness. As children growing up and as youth in Bahai summer school, my memories of him are filled with laughter and joy.  All of the youth who knew him feel this loss immensely, and as he rests peacefully we continue to pray for his soul. this is Celia.I am your great cousin from germany,but unfortunatly we were Never able to get to know each other well.Besides the summer in 2015.In this summer,I just turned three, but I still have many good memories.When I try to remember my early childhood,our memories are all I can think of.We understood each other without sharing a common language.I will always look up to you.You were always kind,warm hearted,loving  and took care of me.I remember us playing with soap bubbles.You swirled me trough the garden,while I sat in a swimming ring.Together we came up with“hola”and “piffa paffa puffa”.We built a tiny fort out of my old cot and somehow all fit in it.Together,we went to Heidelberg,visited the castle there and played catch.The time you visited us was really fun and I always looked forward to repeat those happenings.I wish you and your family the best and hope that you are free of any pain and sorrow.I can’t put into words how thankful I am for all the memories we share.I just want you to know that you will always be loved by every single one.

My dearest Jian,
you were way too young to go and I love you with all my heart and so does my family.❤️
Unfortunately I only got the pleasure to meet you once and we were both really young at that time. Still I have so many memories of your visit, like my sister and me playing with you and your lovely sisters in our garden fooling around. For you it was probably just taking care of and playing with your little cousins who couldn’t speak English yet. But for me as a 5 year old I was so proud and happy that you as a cool and older cousin would play with me despite our language barrier and me being so young. Ever since your family visited I missed you a lot and always wanted to see and play with you again. At that age especially I really looked up to you as a role model and always told my friends in kindergarten about my cool older cousins from the US. I am so devastated that I didn’t get the chance to meet you again and have meaningful conversations now that we were older to get to know each other better. 
I’m glad that through the faith we know that you are in a better place and that God is watching over your kind and beautiful soul.❤️
