A lifetime resident of Mukilteo, passed away March 2, 2015 at the age of 84. Born April 29, 1930 in Mukilteo to Dr. C.E. and Carrol Chandler. Attended Rosehill and graduated Everett High class of 1949.
Married to Lewis J. Cannon September 1949.
Joan was Mukilteo’s Pioneer of the year in 2010. She loved sewing, cross stich, gardening and her daily exercise group, but her greatest passion was her family.
After 48 years of marriage, Lewis passed away in 1997. Joan is survived by her 5 children, Linda Schwartz of Myrtle Point, OR; Sandy Miller of Wilder, ID; Claude K. Cannon of Gig Harbor, WA; Kelvin Cannon of Everett, WA; and Eric Cannon of Everett, WA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Joan had 4 siblings and will be joining her brother Claude Chandler Jr. and sister Monica Martin and is survived by her other 2 sisters Dr. Patricia Pineo and Donna Pineo.
Memorial Service to be held at Rosehill Community Center Saturday March 28th 1-3 pm.
