She and her beloved husband Raymond shared
many wonderful years of marriage. Together they found joy in square dancing, JoAnn and Raymond made square dancing a central part of their lives, traveling to different parts of Washington to dance and sharing in the joy of the competitions they entered and the community they built. It wasn’t just a pastime for them, it was a shared rhythm in their marriage.
At Boeing, where she worked for more than 30 years as a buyer, she coordinated outreach projects with her husband and PUD co-workers, building wooden cars and trucks for the Boeing outreach program. Beyond work, JoAnn was an avid bridge player, a talented crafter and passionate seamstress who sewed for family and friends. She was also an enthusiastic collector of buzzards, a hobby as playful and unique as she was.
She cherished her five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with her many nieces and nephews. She is remembered for her creativity, her joy in dancing, her love of games and crafts, and her warmth in treasuring her family.
We love you and will miss you beyond words
