Joanne is survived by her husband Erik, eldest son Trevor & fiance Lydia, youngest son Zachary & fiance Tayln. Grandchildren Aksel, Tayzlee & Tim.
Joanne was born in Everett on June 5, 1959. Joanne was adopted as an infant by Jack & Lou Kramer from Marysville. She lived in Marysville until her graduation from marysville-Pilchuck H.S. in June 1977. Joanne held several PT jobs before being selected to participate in a school program allowing students to work PT and go to school. She began work in January 1977 as a disbursements clerk at the G.O. In July 1977she moved to Lynnwood as a admin assistant. Joanne was awarded a supply specialist II job in January 1978. Joanne then became a OSP cable splicer in January 1980, she then became a supervisor -OSP construction in September 1998, this is the position she held until her retirement from Verizon in April 2010.
Being one of the very best women splicers n the GTE west coast system she was not well received by the all male crew. Joanne wouldn't break down until she got home after some rough days. All Erik could do was console her and tell her to either quit or prove them wrong! Joanne did just that becoming one of the most credible and knowledgeable splicer in the area.
Due to the person she was and the knowledge she possessed she was an outstanding supervisor & admin respected by all who worked with her.
46 years of memories, millions of them both good and bad. The very best ones were spent with our best friends, Doug and Lori Witham. It was epic!
Joanne was such an amazing woman you could use every superlative possible & it wouldn't surfice. I will always remember her laugh and the joy she brought with her where ever she went.
All I can say is that it was an honor to have her as my wife, the mother of my children, and grandma to our grandchildren. She truly was the very best. There will never be another like her, the mold was broken after she was made.
It would have been our 46th wedding anniversary on September 5th this year. I would give all I have to have her here to celebrate with me.
There will be a celebration of life later this year. Probably early October, once our family finds a way forward without her.
Our families deepest gratitude to Snohomish County Fire & Snohomish County Sheriff for their valiant efforts to bring her back to us. Also Evergreen Funeral Home for their kind and compassionate care after her passing, we are forever in your debt.
Joanne, we will hold you in our hearts, every second of every day until we see you again.
You will never be forgotten baby.
