John Jack William Montgomery Jr.

John Montgomery John "Jack" Montgomery, 80, died peacefully at home on February 8, 2016. Jack was born on July 27, 1935, to goodly parents, John William Montgomery and Frances Grace Thornton, in Oswayo, Potter Co. Pa. He married Verona Crusan in Pittsburgh in 1957. Three daughters were born before they moved to Washington in 1962. In 1965, they were blessed with a baby boy. They owned and ran a Cafe in Ballard, then Jack worked for Frito-Lay, Bayliner, and retired from Boeing in 1990. Jack was a wonderful husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Bang; children, Patricia Ann Renda (Scott), Carol Lynn, Linda Joy and John William lll; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren all but one living in Snohomish County. Jack loved to vacation and spent many years full-time R.V.ing. They visited all the states and many countries. He and Bang cherish the time they served as missionaries in Arizona for the LDS church. The family would like to thank Hospice for their dedication and care, especially sweet Amber Bacus. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 17222 43rd Ave N. E. Arlington (Smokey Point) WA at 10 a.m. A viewing at 9 a.m. prior to the service.
