Born Jan 7, 1943 passed on May 7, 2014 with his family at his side in Everett, Wash. John was born and raised in Yakima Washington and later moved to the Seattle area. He owned and operated Johnny’s Shoe Repair in Ballard and Greenwood for many years, then went to work for Boeing and retired from there after 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda, a son Nick Saywers of Everett, a daughter Tracy Severson (John) of Arlington, a daughter Jennifer Harvey (Shon) of Marysville and three grandchildren, Stephany Saywers of Everett, Jacob and Jessica Severson of Arlington and one great-grandchild Remedy Saywers of Everett and a brother Leland Saywers (Rose) of Graham, Washington and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for John at 1:30 in the afternoon on May 31, 2014 at Evergreen Funeral Home.
