Age 93, of Everett, WA and former resident of Melbourne, FL passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2013. Kathleen was born on February 15, 1920 in Manchester, England. She spent most of her life in Melbourne, FL and moved to Washington in 2005 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Kay was a nurse during WWII in England and was also a member of the Daughters of the British Empire. Kay enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her two daughters; Kathy Skinner of Everett, WA and Susan Lovrin of Seaside Park, NJ, by her son; Richard Pica of West Melbourne, FL, by seven grandchildren, and by two great grandchildren. Kay is preceded in death by her late husband; Americo Pica of Melbourne, FL. A Memorial Service to celebrate Kay's life will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett, on Saturday, September 21, 2013 beginning at 2:00pm.
